Primitive Spring Decorating Ideas

With so many of us in quarantine, I can’t help but get anxious thinking about Spring and wanting to do some decorating. Below are some ideas of primitive Spring decor ideas that you can hopefully accomplish with items you already have lying around your house or in your yard. If you are like me then you are trying to find ways to spruce up your place for the upcoming Easter season without having to leave the house or spend unnecessary money.

Consider putting dyed eggs on candle holders of varying heights. It adds color, interest and a little bit of unexpected glamour. I saw this ideas on Pinterest and knew I needed to try it out for myself!

If you have some old scraps of fabric lying around your house, consider making some carrots out of them.. I love this idea of using various patterns and piling them all together in a bowl for a fun and creative centerpiece.

If you have an old pale lying around consider filling it up with flowers from your garden, or wildflowers you find on your next neighborhood walk. If you don’t have an old pale consider an old wooden crate or even a child’s bucket that you can paint and give new life too.

Save your left over egg cartons and use the to create a one-of0a-kind wreath. Paint and decorate them with various items, like flowers, colored eggs, tissue paper balls, etc. IN one afternoon you can have something colorful and fun to add to your home for Spring!

Keep your egg shells and place them in homemade bird nests (or a decorative bowl if you’d rather) along with some flowers or grass trimmings and bird feathers you find around your yard. It will give your centerpiece a natural outdoors appeal.
