5 Types of Tile to Consider for Your Next Bathroom

5 Types of Tile to Consider for Your Next Bathroom

Something that I have always wanted to learn how to do is tile! I’ve been looking into classes at places like Home Depot and can’t wait to get my hands on a wet saw! But in the mean time I have been researching different tiles for a clients bathroom makeover. Below are some of my favorites to date.

Subway Tile

This tile is such a classic standard that works in just about every design. If you are looking for something to stand the test of time-then is your go-to tile. If you want to spice it up a little more you can choose a subway tile in a fun color like sea glass or royal blue, but you will never go wrong with your traditional white.

Moroccan Mosaic

While the names suggest a middle easter flair, I can’t help but be see a more art deco influence with it’s black and white colors, angular shapes and skinny line details. One thing is for certain-you will definitely be making a statement with this tile choice!

Vintage Hexagon

If you have been following my blog at all then you know I love all things vintage and this tile is no exception. I love the small hexagon pattern in the black and white colors. It reminds me of something straight out my grandma’s bathroom-and I am loving it!

Colored Glass

This shimmery orange is everything I want to wake up to! I can just imagine all the iridescent qualities this tile would have under water. It has a majestic feel and is definitely not for the meek.

Art Nouveau

This tile is true Art Nouveau! I can just imagine it fitting perfectly in a feminine powder room. The detailing is exquisite and something to be admired.
